Tristan Oil Ltd. (the "Company") today announced that the Company and its external auditors require additional time to complete the audit of the Company's financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2007. The Company intends to make available its financial report for the year ended December 31, 2007 accompanied by the Reserve Report, dated as of December 31, 2007, within the next fifteen days.
